In this role, you will be installing high-efficiency equipment while leading a small, tightly-knit team of up to 3 installers. We are looking for a natural leader who takes deep pride in their craftsmanship, can independently problem-solve on site, and values excellent customer communication. This position offers exceptional job stability— we have a strong backlog of local projects and have never had a single layoff in the last three years . Top-Tier Pay :
$35.00 to $50.00 per hour based on your experience level.

Key Responsibilities Hands-on Installation:
Actively install and commission residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including gas heating, central AC, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits.
Crew Leadership:
Direct, train, and mentor a small installation crew (1 to 3 people) on daily tasks.
Site Management & Schematics:
Read blueprints, fabricate/layout sheet metal, and problem-solve layout modifications directly with builders on your feet.
Quality & Commissioning :
Perform brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, system startups, and airflow/combustion checks.
Client Relations :
Treat customer property with absolute respect and clearly explain system operations without using heavy technical jargon.
Required Qualifications Experience Requirement:
5+ years of HVAC installation experience is preferred, with a strong focus on residential systems.
Mandatory Leadership:
Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience leading an installation crew. (
Note:
We are looking for an established leader who can independently run a job from day one; we cannot accept senior installers without prior formal crew leadership experience).
Technical Skills:
Confident sheet metal/ductwork fabrication skills and a broad knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and system controls.
Tools & Licensing:
Must possess your own set of trade tools and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work comfortably in tight or challenging spaces like attics, basements, and crawlspaces. Preferred Qualifications EPA 608 Universal Certification is highly preferred, though we are willing to hire the right leader without it and help you achieve it. Experience with communicating thermostats, high-efficiency systems, NATE certification, or OSHA safety training .
