Job Description
Seeking experienced HVAC Technicians with a current Connecticut D2 or S2 license for a direct hire opportunity with our client in South Windsor, CT. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, 401K, company vehicle, and gas card!
Pay:
$40 - $55 hourly (based on experience) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service on commercial HVAC systems. Maintain all required trade licenses and certifications. Comply with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and all applicable federal, state, and local occupational safety regulations. Attend required safety training. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Properly utilize required PPE when installing, maintaining, or servicing HVAC systems. Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain a clean, professional appearance while working at customer locations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Be available to work overtime and weekends as business demands require. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Connecticut S2 or D2 license required. EPA 608 Universal certification required. Commercial HVAC systems experience required. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to respond to service calls on short notice. Must maintain a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to: Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Use hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment. Reach with hands and arms. Climb ladders and stairways. Talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally sit. Frequently lift and/or move items weighing 0-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 51-100 lbs. Seldom lift and/or move items weighing 101+ lbs.
