Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer and play a vital role in delivering comfortable, efficient climate control solutions to homeowners. This energetic position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with precision and care. As a key member of our service team, you'll bring mechanical expertise, technical skills, and a passion for property maintenance to ensure every customer experience is exceptional. Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design specifications Conduct system inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges to ensure optimal operation Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately assemble and install equipment Perform plumbing connections, refrigerant charging (including ammonia refrigeration if applicable), and electrical wiring in compliance with safety standards Utilize welding and equipment repair techniques to address installation or maintenance issues efficiently Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and system diagnostics Ensure property maintenance standards are upheld during installations while providing excellent field service that exceeds customer expectations Qualifications Proven experience in construction, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), or related mechanical fields Service technician experience with appliance repair, property maintenance, or equipment installation preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans confidently Familiarity with plumbing systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and welding techniques Experience operating field service tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic equipment for HVAC systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver is advantageous Knowledge of HVAC/R safety standards and best practices for equipment repair and maintenance Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high-quality workmanship in residential settings Embark on a career where your technical skills make a difference!
