Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns. Repair mechanical components such as pumps, motors, valves, and ductwork using hand tools and welding techniques. Diagnose complex issues related to refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during field service visits. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with construction experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and building automation system layouts. Knowledge of HVAC system installation procedures including ductwork, piping, electrical wiring, and equipment setup. Experience with plumbing systems related to HVAC applications is highly desirable. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in ammonia refrigeration or boiler operation are a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driver experience is advantageous.
