Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician Pay:

$25.00 - $50.00 per hour Job description: Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems. This role involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction to our clients. Licenses Journeyman

Universal Certification Valid Driver's License Duties Install, maintain, diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems and components. Perform routine maintenance checks on commercial HVAC/R equipment to ensure proper functioning. Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used and any necessary follow-up. Maintain compliance with code and all safety procedures and practices. May be asked to perform other duties as required. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems. Proficient in commercial equipment troubleshooting and repair, with a focus on refrigeration systems. Knowledge of various refrigerant types, gases and electrical systems. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, procedures and industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication, both verbal and written, for clear record keeping and client interaction. Effective customer service to encourage repeat business. Basic computer systems knowledge to operate devices, software and email.
