In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan; conduct inspections for potential issues before they escalate. Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems using hand tools, and other specialized tools to identify faults quickly and accurately. Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, thermostats, electrical wiring, and refrigerant lines; manage refrigerant recovery when necessary. Collaborate with property managers or clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations. Maintain detailed service records including work performed, parts used, diagnostic findings, and follow-up actions to ensure transparency and accountability. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or mechanic with a strong background in HVAC systems repair and maintenance. Knowledge of mechanical systems repair including boilers and appliances; ability to perform welding or other mechanical repairs as needed. Valid driver's license with a clean record; ability to operate a vehicle safely across job sites.
