We're looking for people who want more than just another job. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to advance, take on greater responsibility, and grow with us long term. The right technician will be comfortable working independently, accurately diagnosing HVAC problems, explaining findings and repair options professionally to customers, and completing repairs correctly the first time. What You'll Do As an HVAC Service Technician, you will: Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems Perform HVAC maintenance and system inspections Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and system-performance issues Service air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and split systems Diagnose motors, capacitors, contactors, controls, and other HVAC components Evaluate refrigerant pressures and overall system performance Identify airflow, ductwork, and indoor air quality concerns Explain findings, recommendations, and repair options professionally to customers Complete repairs and verify proper system operation Take before-and-after photos and properly document completed work Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Protect customers' homes and leave work areas clean and organized Work safely in attics, tight spaces, and Florida heat while following company procedures and safety requirements Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers throughout the entire service What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who has: At least 2 years of professional, hands-on HVAC service experience Strong residential HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills EPA Section 608 certification is a PLUS! Experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC systems Knowledge of electrical components, controls, and refrigerant systems Understanding of airflow and ductwork A valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail Respect for customers, their homes, and their property A positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude Ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally to customers Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional longer days when needed Ability to pass a background check and drug screening A strong work ethic and pride in doing the job correctly Experience with duct installation, air duct cleaning, indoor air quality (IAQ), airflow, or building performance is a plus. NADCA, NATE, OSHA, IAQ, airflow, building-performance, and other HVAC-related certifications are also a plus.
