Service Technician Full-Time | Volusia County, FL | Certified Climate Control Certified Climate Control is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We're looking for a dependable, technically skilled professional who takes pride in diagnosing issues accurately, solving problems efficiently, and delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting abilities who enjoys working independently, communicating clearly with homeowners, and ensuring systems are operating safely and effectively.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency. Identify mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues using proper diagnostic procedures and tools. Repair or replace defective components including motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, controls, and electrical components. Test system operations and verify proper functionality after repairs are completed. Educate homeowners on system condition, maintenance recommendations, and repair options. Maintain accurate service records, notes, and documentation for each call. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and local code requirements. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide excellent customer service on every job. Work collaboratively with dispatch, management, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience servicing a variety of HVAC systems and equipment. EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus. Ability to read gauges, meters, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
