Job Description

Residential Service Technician - Join a Trusted Local Team Legacy of Excellence Since 1921 For over a century, Jacob HeatingAir Conditioning has proudly served the West Volusia community with dependable, high-quality HVAC solutions. We pride ourselves on integrity, respect, and putting our customers first. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician who wants more than just a paycheck - someone ready to build a long-term career with a respected local company.
Schedule:
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (required on-call rotation)
Pay:
$18.00 - $34.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

Company Matching Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Solid troubleshooting skills across a wide variety of HVAC equipment Experience evaluating repair versus replacement options Willingness to obtain a low voltage license within 2 years Excellent customer service and communication skills Must obtain NATE certification within one year of hire Comfortable working at heights and operating scissor and genie lifts safely Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and air balancing principles Strong sense of ownership and leadership potential
Preferred Qualifications:
Universal EPA Certification Formal HVAC technical school training Current NATE certification Clean, insurable driving record Owns a complete set of professional HVAC tools
