Overview Join our dynamic Residential HVAC company as an Install, Service Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to homeowners. This energetic role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring that installation and service operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will oversee a team of skilled technicians, coordinate complex HVAC system installations, perform troubleshooting and repairs, and foster outstanding customer relationships. Duties Lead and supervise installation and service teams to ensure timely, accurate, and quality HVAC system installations and repairs for residential clients Oversee daily operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to maximize efficiency Conduct site inspections to assess system requirements, interpret schematics, and develop detailed HVAC design plans tailored to customer needs Troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues involving electrical diagnostics, refrigeration components, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems repair Perform equipment troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools; diagnose electrical systems, building automation systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and appliances Ensure all work complies with safety standards including EPA regulations for refrigerants and electrical codes Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, system modifications, maintenance schedules, and customer interactions Foster excellent customer service by communicating clearly about system performance issues and solutions; address customer concerns professionally Experience Proven experience in construction or HVAC service technician roles with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing connections, and boiler operation Familiarity with electrical systems diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately Experience working with hand tools and equipment repair; ability to perform mechanical systems repair confidently Customer service background with excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with local routes for timely service calls Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in electrical or plumbing are a plus Join us if you're eager to lead a talented team while delivering top-tier residential HVAC solutions. $76,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
