We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Position Summary The HVAC & Refrigeration Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, safety-minded, and capable of working independently while representing the company with integrity. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and reach-in units. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues. Install HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Accurately document service calls, repairs, recommendations, and customer interactions. Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Participate in rotating on-call schedules as needed. Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience. EPA Universal Certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions. Preferred Commercial refrigeration experience. Factory training certifications. Experience with ductless mini-split systems. Experience with commercial package units, split systems, and controls. Knowledge of refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
