Job Summary Join our team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Helper and become a vital part of delivering comfortable, efficient climate control solutions. In this energetic role, you will assist skilled technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance across residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration systems following schematics and design plans. Support technicians in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R equipment by using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Help perform routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure efficient operation and longevity of equipment. Aid in the inspection of mechanical systems and electrical wiring to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Participate in system testing, calibration, and adjustments to optimize performance based on client specifications. Maintain a clean work environment during installations and repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Support the transportation of equipment using company vehicles, ensuring safe driving practices as a van driver when required. Requirements Construction experience or background working with mechanical or electrical systems is highly preferred. Service technician experience or familiarity with HVAC system repair and maintenance is a strong plus. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately. Basic knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration principles, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems. Proficiency with hand tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and equipment troubleshooting devices. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance processes. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on professionalism and clear communication. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
