HVAC/R Service Technician (UPPER KEYS, Commission Opps., Great Culture)

Your expertise will ensure comfort, safety, and efficiency for a diverse range of properties and equipment. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and plumbing fixtures. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct field service visits to residential, commercial, and industrial sites to deliver prompt solutions. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components with precision. Apply mechanical knowledge to service appliances, ammonia refrigeration systems, and property maintenance tasks. Document all work performed thoroughly in service reports; communicate clearly with clients about repairs and system status. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC/R service technician or in related construction or mechanical fields. Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics confidently; experience with Ohmmeters is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver standards is a plus. Skilled in using field service tools including welding equipment and diagnostic instruments. Experience working on boilers, appliances, property maintenance projects or as a mechanic is highly desirable. $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
