In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for motivated professionals who thrive on problem-solving and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and mechanical components. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults within electrical systems associated with HVAC equipment. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service visits. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation and maintenance. Service technician experience in diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems with a solid understanding of mechanical systems repair. Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration principles. Ability to perform HVAC design assessments and contribute to system upgrades or new installations. Familiarity with plumbing work related to HVAC applications is preferred. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or boiler operation are advantageous. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
