Job Description
Responsibilities Take instrument readings. Be responsible for keeping accurate records of equipment. Add oil to machines. Draw oil from system. Will be working around various chemicals. Defrost Gyro freezers with hot gas or water Assist other mechanics as needed. Communicate with the Mechanics and Supervisors Must be able to pass refrigeration test with an average of 68 or above Requirements Must be able to cover various shifts as needed. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to read and write English. Must have Mechanical ability. Must have basic Math. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must know how to start up a 2 Stage Ammonia System. Must know how to rebuild pumps, motors, oilers, etc. Must take up to 4 RETA classes to get Class A Must be able to work in freezer. Must take up to 24 hours HazMat training. Special Training Lockout/Tagout procedures. Confined Space Entry Procedures. HAZCOM May be required to train on forklift operation
