What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair residential (and light commercial) HVAC systems — from a simple capacitor swap to full system replacements Perform seasonal maintenance visits for our membership customers, delivering the kind of thorough, honest service that keeps people coming back Install and replace HVAC components: motors, capacitors, refrigerant systems, thermostats, and more Communicate clearly with customers — explain what's wrong, what it costs, and why, in plain language Document every job accurately using our mobile app (Housecall Pro) — photos, notes, and clean invoicing Represent Ashmore Air professionally: on time, clean truck, respectful of people's homes Occasionally handle after-hours emergency calls (paid at a premium — see below) Spot legitimate opportunities to help customers — whether that's a small repair or flagging an aging system before it fails What We're Looking For EPA 608 Certification required 2+ years of hands-on residential HVAC experience Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills — you can walk a system down logically, not just guess Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for job documentation Self-motivated and trustworthy — you'll often be working independently in someone's home A genuine team player who takes pride in doing the job right, not just fast Pay & Benefits $28.00/hour Company vehicle and tools provided Performance bonuses on service plan memberships and completed jobs $750 retention bonus after your first 90 days Paid time off after your 90-day introductory period Premium pay for after-hours emergency calls Real growth potential as the company expands — this is a ground-floor seat, not a dead-end route Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours/week.
