Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems in accordance with schematics and design specifications Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and extend system lifespan Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing issues using hand tools, ohmmeters, and diagnostic equipment Conduct electrical diagnostics and system repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and HVAC design plans for accurate installation and repairs Diagnose equipment failures through systematic troubleshooting procedures and implement effective solutions promptly Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs or maintenance needs while providing excellent customer service Skills Proven construction experience with HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair Service technician experience with troubleshooting HVAC/R systems in commercial or residential environments Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems, and plumbing Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, maintenance, refrigeration cycles, boilers, appliances repair, air conditioning units Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers; diagnostic tools including ohmmeters; and equipment repair techniques Ability to perform electrical diagnostics accurately on complex electrical systems within HVAC units Familiarity with HVAC system maintenance practices to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid van driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between job sites Join our team as an HVAC Technician where your mechanical expertise meets energetic problem-solving!
