Your hands-on work will ensure comfort and safety for our clients' building systems, making a real difference every day. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of HVAC systems. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes of system failures. Repair or replace HVAC components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, electrical wiring, and plumbing connections. Conduct system inspections and testing to verify proper operation after installation or repair. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed for each client. Support senior technicians with equipment troubleshooting and repairs while adhering to safety standards and EPA regulations. Skills Previous service technician experience is valuable for diagnosing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) issues efficiently. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeters (ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of HVAC system repair, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Experience with electrical diagnostics and system repairs ensures quick resolution of issues. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities. Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and ensure satisfaction during service visits. EPA certification required for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in HVAC/R are a plus.
