Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Commercial Service Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration solutions to commercial clients. In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep buildings comfortable, efficient, and safe while advancing your career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment to ensure reliable operation and energy efficiency. Install new HVAC systems and components following industry standards and project specifications. Utilize hand tools, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and building automation systems to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct plumbing and electrical work related to HVAC system repairs or installations while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with the work performed. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in commercial and residential settings. Construction experience or familiarity with building construction processes is highly desirable. Knowledge of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems repair. Ability to read schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, electrical diagnostic equipment (such as ohmmeters), and maintenance tools for equipment repair. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical diagnostics are a plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
