Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Your hands-on skills will ensure that heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment operate smoothly, supporting the comfort and safety of our clients and their occupants. Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent future failures. Install new HVAC equipment in compliance with design specifications and safety standards, ensuring optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately troubleshoot issues and plan repairs or installations. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe connections for refrigeration or ammonia refrigeration units. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical repairs when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports for each property serviced. Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems. Hands-on experience with construction sites or property maintenance environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, ammonia refrigeration processes, and boiler operation. Mechanical knowledge combined with field service experience in appliance repair or equipment maintenance. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform welding or equipment repair tasks confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transportation between sites. Certifications in HVAC/R technology or refrigeration are a plus; ongoing training in mechanical systems is encouraged. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Pay:
