Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled A/C Installer to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to identify faults in electrical and mechanical systems Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, electrical wiring, and plumbing connections Conduct system inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes; document all work performed accurately Assist with system upgrades or modifications based on client needs or evolving HVAC technology trends Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and answering client questions professionally Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and HVAC installation processes Service technician experience working with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans effectively Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R equipment repair and maintenance procedures Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and specialized diagnostic tools like ohmmeters Experience working with electrical systems including troubleshooting wiring issues and electrical components Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of HVAC/R regulations is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Valid van driver's license preferred for transportation between job sites Join our team if you're passionate about delivering top-tier HVAC solutions!
