HVAC Lead Installer Jackrabbit AC - Ocala, FL Full-Time | W-2 About Jackrabbit AC Jackrabbit AC is growing in Ocala and is looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our team. We are seeking a skilled, motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, leadership, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. What You'll Do Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish Install and replace split systems, package units, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment Lead and oversee an installation helper or crew Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and code requirements Read installation specifications and determine materials and equipment needed for each job Perform quality-control checks and ensure systems are properly installed and operating correctly Start up and test newly installed HVAC systems Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process Train, mentor, and help develop junior installers and helpers Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Follow all company safety procedures and standards What We're Looking For 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred Previous lead installer or leadership experience strongly preferred EPA Certification required Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation procedures Experience installing split systems, package units, and ductwork Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues Ability to lead a crew and keep jobs moving efficiently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Professional appearance and strong communication skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Customer-first mindset What We Offer Competitive pay with strong earning potential Full-time W-2 employment Company vehicle Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Paid training Consistent, year-round work Opportunities for career advancement Supportive and growing team environment Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding HVAC company Join Our Team At Jackrabbit AC, we believe great installers are critical to delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.
