HVAC Residential & Light Commercial Service Technician to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-minded, and experienced with a wide range of HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial settings. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems Service equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, mini-splits, and rooftop units Perform routine maintenance and system inspections Identify repair vs. replacement needs and clearly explain options to customers Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and timely Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company policies Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in clean and working condition Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times Participate in on-call rotation as required Qualifications Minimum 2-5 years HVAC service experience (residential and/or light commercial) EPA Section 608 Certification (required) Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with gas, electric, and refrigeration systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Requires standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75lbs), and working in confined spaces Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and training opportunities
