Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment across various commercial and residential settings. Duties Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment such as boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools like ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes quickly Conduct comprehensive equipment diagnostics and repairs involving electrical systems, plumbing components, refrigeration units, and mechanical parts Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate installation and repairs Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all completed tasks Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions to clients Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance Construction experience preferred for understanding building layouts and installation requirements Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems along with electrical diagnostics skills Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, troubleshooting of mechanical systems, boilers, appliances, and building automation systems Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design principles is essential Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various work environments Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications related to electrical systems or plumbing are advantageous Valid van driver's license with a clean driving record preferred for timely service calls Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values technical excellence and outstanding customer service. Pay:
$25.00 - $33.67 per hour
