HVAC Service Technicians HVAC Lead Installers Responsibilities Perform comprehensive HVAC system repairs, troubleshooting electrical diagnostics, refrigeration, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Install new HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, and building automation systems following schematics and HVAC design specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to prevent future issues and extend equipment lifespan. Use hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure installations meet safety standards and customer expectations. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance procedures, and addressing client concerns professionally. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and service logs. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation or repair. Service technician experience working with electrical systems, plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, and electrical diagnostics. Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including boilers and appliances repair. Ability to operate hand tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and perform equipment troubleshooting effectively. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications related to HVAC or electrical work are a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to operate a van or service vehicle safely.
