COMPANY_ID=JA001601 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Mechanic specializing in Food Service Equipment to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances and food service equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Your expertise will help keep food service operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and service technician experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Diagnose and repair a wide range of food service equipment, including refrigeration units (walk-in coolers and freezers), ovens, skillets, ventilation systems, etc. Perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend the lifespan of kitchen equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively. Provide feedback and assistance in renovation or new construction projects related to food service facilities' HVAC/R systems, ensuring safety and compliance. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each piece of equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service calls and uphold high standards of quality. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair or HVAC/R systems in commercial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, and food service equipment. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams accurately. Experience with appliance repair, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with leadership qualities. Valid certifications in HVAC/R or refrigeration are preferred;
