In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Duties Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, specialized equipment such as Lieberts and Opticol, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper operation of HVAC equipment. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot complex HVAC system problems involving refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and specialized equipment while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction throughout every interaction. Experience Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in commercial HVAC system repair and maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration systems. Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation projects from start to finish. Ability to operate hand tools effectively and perform equipment troubleshooting efficiently. Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications in electrical or mechanical systems are a plus.
