Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, and deliver exceptional service that keeps environments comfortable and efficient. As a vital part of our service team, you'll work hands-on with a variety of equipment, ensuring optimal operation and safety standards are met. Your proactive approach and technical skills will directly impact the comfort and safety of our clients and their facilities. Responsibilities service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe repairs or replacements for refrigerant lines and water supply connections. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications. Troubleshoot mechanical failures in equipment like compressors, fans, pumps, or boilers using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic techniques. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs or installations performed on-site. Ensure compliance with safety standards including proper handling of ammonia refrigeration systems and other hazardous materials. Assist in HVAC system design modifications or upgrades to improve efficiency or meet new property requirements. Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between job sites as needed. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications. Experience with proficiency in equipment repair, welding, and general field service operations. Ability to read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
