Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC-R Technician, as well as office personnel/Management to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC-R equipment, enhance energy efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC-R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs. Field service work involving appliance repair, property maintenance, and system upgrades at client sites. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference. Skills Extensive knowledge of construction principles related to HVAC-R installations and repairs. Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC systems or refrigeration units. Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately. Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment repair, welding, and general property maintenance. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and the safety protocols associated with them. Experience with field service operations involving appliance repair and property upkeep. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Strong understanding of HVAC/R industry standards including refrigeration codes and safety regulations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments requiring mechanical expertise.
