Commercial HVAC Service Technician Venice Cooling, Heating & Plumbing is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are expanding our commercial HVAC division and are looking for a skilled technician who can confidently diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment. Responsibilities include:

Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control issues Service rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, package units, and other commercial HVAC equipment Perform refrigerant diagnostics and repairs Replace motors, capacitors, contactors, compressors, controls, and other HVAC components Identify additional repairs or system concerns and clearly communicate recommendations Complete service documentation, equipment information, and job notes accurately Communicate professionally with property managers, facility managers, business owners, and other commercial customers Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices Participate in a shared on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency service Qualifications We are looking for an experienced HVAC technician who is comfortable working independently and representing our company professionally in commercial environments.

Preferred qualifications:

3+ years of HVAC service experience Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with rooftop units, package units, split systems, heat pumps, and commercial controls EPA certification Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work independently and make sound diagnostic decisions Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to safely work on rooftops, ladders, and in Florida weather conditions What We're Looking For We aren't simply looking for someone who can change parts. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday with overtime opportunities. Technicians participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and emergency commercial service. On-call responsibility is shared among participating technicians. Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience and skill level. Additional compensation may be available for overtime and on-call work.
