Shift:

Monday through Friday; 7:00am -1530 Performs routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including changing filters, cleaning blower wheels, and greasing bearings and motors. Inspects and maintains air handlers, fan coils, exhaust fans, supply fan pumps, and other HVAC components to ensure proper operation. Replaces worn or damaged parts such as V-belts, small motors, thermostats, and pulleys. Troubleshoots minor issues with HVAC equipment and performs necessary repairs. Assists the Master Mechanic with more complex troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC systems. Monitors system performance and makes adjustments to optimize efficiency and functionality. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and uses proper safety equipment while working on HVAC systems. Completes corrective work orders in a timely and cost-effective manner. Documents maintenance activities and repairs for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Communicates effectively with other departments and staff to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions. Keeps work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

General HVAC Journeyman knowledge. [Required] Knowledge in testing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment. [Required]

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv or 5+ years experience [Preferred]

Work Experience:

2+ healthcare experience [Preferred] 3+ mechanical and electrical background in hvac equipment or equivalent [Required]

Pay Range:
