Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to spearhead our HVAC service team. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex HVAC systems across residential, commercial and industrial properties. Your leadership will ensure that mechanical systems operate efficiently, reliably, and safely, providing optimal comfort and air quality for our clients. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams to execute precise system repairs or installations. Coordinate with clients to assess system needs, provide expert advice on HVAC design solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs for all work performed. Qualifications Proven experience in construction and service technician roles within HVAC or related mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with schematics, building automation systems, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration principles, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems repair. Hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and refrigerant handling including EPA certification. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with HVAC design is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driver experience preferred. Strong field service background with property maintenance experience highly desirable. Most importantly, a team player - someone that is able to adapt to different personalities Candidates are required to have at MINIMUM 5+ years of HVAC experience.
