Job Title:
Mission Critical Datacenter HVAC Tech OR Journeyman HVAC Technician - Experience with
Data Centers Salary:
up to $60/hr

Role:
We are seeking a seasoned HVAC professional with specialized expertise mission critical (hospitals, medical centers etc) and data center environments. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical HVAC projects from construction through commissioning, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of advanced climate control systems. Specialized Expertise:
Leverage your knowledge of data center HVAC requirements to maintain and enhance critical infrastructure, with equipment such as ,Split systems RTU's, trouble shooting and start up with Controls systems. Chillers, VRF systems (not required as a plus)

Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Oversee HVAC equipment delivery, verifying order specifications, inspecting for completeness and shipping damage, and coordinating on-site logistics.
Installation Support:
Assist mechanical contractors during equipment mobilization and installation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
Pre-Energization Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections post-installation to ensure systems are ready for startup.
Controls Integration:
Collaborate with BMS engineers to verify communication between PLCs, BMS platforms, and HVAC equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
Equipment Startup:
Lead the energization of HVAC systems, coordinating with electricians and BMS engineers to simulate operational conditions and record performance data.
Commissioning Support:
Participate in the commissioning process, verifying alarms, alerts, and scripted functional testing of equipment.
Technical Support & Training:
Provide end-user training, technical support to on-site technicians, and perform warranty repairs as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading HVAC projects or teams. Familiarity with energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices in HVAC systems. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Requirements 5 years of experience in HVAC service work, Split systems RTU's, trouble shooting and start up with Controls systems. Chillers, VRF systems (not required as a plus) Proven experience working within data center environments or similar critical infrastructure settings. Strong understanding of HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant HVAC certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
