Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities Service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring system efficiency and safety. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping repairs, and component replacements. Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and welding tools for equipment repair or fabrication needs. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed, parts used, and system conditions. Operate company vehicles safely as a driver when traveling between job sites or delivering equipment. Support emergency repairs involving refrigeration or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation and maintenance with a strong mechanical background. Hands-on experience working with schematics, blueprints, or HVAC design plans for troubleshooting and repairs. Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC units is preferred. Experience working on air conditioning units, boilers, appliances repair, or property maintenance projects is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge combined with field service expertise in commercial or residential settings. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is a plus. Certification or training in HVAC/R systems or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; ongoing learning encouraged.
