Job Overview Fitness International, one of the world's fastest-growing Health Club chains, is hiring a Commercial HVAC Lead Service Technician. Qualified applicants must have 4 years of service experience troubleshooting Commercial air conditioning, heating, exhaust fans, EMS sensors, electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical systems. Experience with all types of HVAC Equipment is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and heating systems. Perform equipment inspection and repair any equipment found faulty. Visit assigned clubs on a weekly or weekly schedule. Perform preventive maintenance per the company's preventive maintenance procedures. Act on open service issues identified by our work order-generated system. Using our Equipment Maintenance computer program, report service work performed, place orders for parts needed for equipment repairs, and enter requests for manufacturer warranty service as applicable. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all HVAC needs are met efficiently. Communicate clearly and cooperatively with club personnel, repairs completed, outstanding issues, status of preventive maintenance, etc. Always maintain a neat and clean appearance, despite the "unclean" nature of some repair work. Workdays are flexible, Monday-Friday, 5 am to 1:30 pm summer hours and 6 am to 2:30 pm winter hours.

Hours vary from state to state No on-call rotation - Weekends OFF! Our company will also provide a well-maintained work vehicle for service calls and maintenance calls. Some company tools are provided. Cell phone allowance. Requirements Broad technical ability, including ability to troubleshoot and repair heating, air conditioning, exhaust fans, electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical systems. Weld components as needed for system repairs or installations. Plumb new installations according to specifications and local codes. Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the work performed. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Absolute reliability and honesty:

Able to work independently while performing complete and effective equipment repairs to ensure safety for, and minimize inconvenience to, Fitness Intl. club members. Safeguard Company property. Strong communications skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility and ability to perform under abruptly changing priorities when necessary. Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record. Legal right to work in the U.S. Must have own HVAC-related tools to perform the tasks at hand. Able to pass background check. Must be able to lift 60 lbs., bend frequently. Must have a valid Universal EPA Certification card Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems. Familiarity with property maintenance practices is a plus. Experience as a service technician in the HVAC field is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites. Knowledge of appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
