Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance/HVAC Technician to join our team in Hephzibah, GA. In this vital role, you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the property, including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC repairs. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs on the property. HVAC experience and EPA certification required. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with excellent starting pay and a competitive benefits package. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of the property and its systems and appliances to identify potential issues. Conduct detailed inspections of plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components to ensure optimal operation and compliance with codes. Perform plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC repairs and maintenance. Troubleshoot issues and effectively execute repairs. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members. Perform routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Install new HVAC equipment and mechanical systems in accordance with design specifications and safety standards. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform precise repairs and adjustments on various mechanical systems. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, respond promptly to service requests, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery. Required Skills Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC issues. Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and electrical wiring diagrams. Knowledge and experience working on HVAC systems. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks efficiently. Experience working in construction or building maintenance environments is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge covering HVAC/R equipment installation, boiler operation, plumbing systems, and general property maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices like ohmmeters, and troubleshooting equipment issues efficiently. Field service experience with a focus on property maintenance, equipment repair, and mechanical systems troubleshooting. Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; knowledge of ammonia refrigeration is a plus. This could be an excellent career opportunity for you!
