Duties Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, electrical wiring, and refrigeration components according to schematics and HVAC design plans Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repairs Perform system testing, calibration, and commissioning to meet safety standards and client specifications Diagnose complex issues involving electrical systems, plumbing connections, mechanical components, and refrigeration units Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance procedures clearly to clients Requirements Proven construction experience with familiarity in HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields such as property maintenance or mechanical systems repair Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration cycles, and building automation systems Hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical testing devices (including ohmmeters), refrigerant recovery equipment, and plumbing tools Mechanical knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and HVAC/R equipment troubleshooting Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow safety protocols diligently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred EPA certification for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in electrical or mechanical systems are advantageous Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier HVAC solutions!
