Commercial HVAC Technician Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience Company vehicle and tools provided for work use Opportunities for overtime and emergency response pay Health, dental, and vision insurance available Paid time off and company holidays Ongoing technical training and certification support Commercial HVAC Technician Requirements & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC controls, motors, compressors, and burners Experience with commercial kitchen hot-side equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills preferred Strong knowledge of electrical, gas, and mechanical systems Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in high-temperature kitchen environments EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (preferred) Comfortable climbing ladders and working in tight spaces Commercial HVAC Technician Preferred Background & Skills Experience working with restaurants or commercial foodservice organizations Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs in commercial kitchens Understanding of gas lines, combustion systems, and ventilation hood systems Commercial HVAC Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and hot-side kitchen equipment, such as rooftop units, ovens, fryers, and ventilation systems Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve heating, cooling, and refrigeration issues in commercial settings Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper service Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and parts inventory Communicate clearly with clients and management on repair recommendations and service needs Respond to emergency service calls to restore essential kitchen and HVAC systems If you're ready to bring your HVAC and commercial kitchen expertise to a respected team and work directly with leading foodservice clients, we encourage you to apply today.
