Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled A/C Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional HVAC and refrigeration services across various properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of climate control systems, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients' environments. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC/R equipment to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and conduct mechanical repairs involving welding or equipment replacement. Conduct field service visits to residential, commercial, or industrial sites to address HVAC, plumbing, or appliance repair needs promptly. Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used for accurate reporting and compliance. Assist with property maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, welding projects, or boiler servicing as needed. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar field service role with a strong background in HVAC/R systems. Knowledge of construction principles related to HVAC installation and property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology (including ammonia refrigeration), and mechanical knowledge. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repair tasks efficiently. Experience with appliance repair, boiler servicing, welding techniques, and general mechanical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transportation between sites.
