Now Hiring - HVAC Installation Technician Custom Cooling II, Inc. is seeking an experienced, dependable, and efficient HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who works well with a team and takes pride in quality workmanship. This position is focused primarily on new HVAC installations and retrofit/replacement projects at residential homes, rental properties, and new construction projects throughout Kauai. This position is full-time and in person. We are located in Lihue, Hawaii. Starting pay rate is $27.00-$45.00+, depending on experience and qualifications. While previous HVAC experience is preferred, we are also willing to train the right candidate who is dependable, motivated, mechanically inclined, and interested in building a long-term career in the HVAC trade. Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Key Responsibilities Install new air conditioning equipment and systems according to job requirements Perform retrofit and replacement installations, including removal of existing HVAC equipment and installation of new systems Professionally communicate with customers and contractors Assist with project management Participate in weekend standby technician rotation Assist with troubleshooting and HVAC service work as needed Maintain accurate job documentation and project status updates Assist with equipment warranty procedures Qualifications Valid driver's license with a good driving record HVAC experience preferred HVAC Universal Certification preferred R410 certification preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and HVAC equipment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Good time-management and problem-solving skills Dependable and able to work as part of a team Benefits Paid time off and paid holidays Company-paid individual health and dental insurance 401(k) with company match for eligible employees Profit sharing upon eligibility
