Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and maintenance of equipment. Perform troubleshooting on HVAC/R systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Collaborate with construction teams to support HVAC design and installation in new builds or renovations. Provide field service support for HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations or repairs as needed. Complete necessary paperwork for service calls, including work orders and maintenance logs. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding HVAC design principles. Service technician experience in the field of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or refrigeration. Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems. Experience in property maintenance with an emphasis on HVAC related tasks. Welding skills for equipment repairs may be beneficial. Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship. A valid driver's license and good driving record is required for travel between job sites.
