Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal comfort, safety, and efficiency for our clients' environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to property maintenance excellence in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and refrigeration lines as needed. Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with property maintenance. Operate a vehicle safely to transport tools or equipment between sites. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized HVAC/R technologies with safety compliance. Collaborate with team members on HVAC design projects to optimize system efficiency. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all field activities. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields. Strong knowledge of construction principles related to HVAC installation and repair. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents effectively. Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration systems, plumbing, boilers, and appliance repair. Experience working with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration setups. Familiarity with field service procedures and property maintenance practices. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating vehicles. Ability to work safely in environments involving electrical components, refrigerants, and mechanical equipment. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
