Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer specializing in both new construction and retrofit projects. In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency while you develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation equipment in new construction homes and retrofit projects. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and system configuration. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration units, plumbing connections, and mechanical components to restore optimal operation. Conduct equipment troubleshooting using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and accurately. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance longevity and efficiency while adhering to safety standards such as EPA regulations. Collaborate with property owners, contractors, and team members to deliver excellent customer service and ensure project specifications are met. Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and quality assurance. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical testing devices like ohmmeters, and equipment repair techniques. Familiarity with boiler operation, appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, air conditioning systems, and HVAC system maintenance practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely across various job sites.
