Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Service & Installer Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Duties Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems, following schematics and design specifications Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively Repair and replace mechanical components within HVAC systems, including compressors, fans, pumps, and valves Conduct comprehensive system inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate Assist customers by explaining system operations, maintenance procedures, and recommended repairs to enhance their understanding and satisfaction Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards, you are required to supply your own hand tools Experience Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or installer with a strong background in mechanical systems repair and installation with at least 2 year experience minimum Construction experience or familiarity with building schematics is highly desirable Knowledge of HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and refrigeration systems Hands-on experience with HVAC system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair techniques Mechanical knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration (a plus), and air conditioning units Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required Experience operating hand tools, power tools, van driving skills preferred for timely job site access, good clean driving record required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally, respecting customers and their property Join us if you're passionate about building comfort solutions that make a difference! $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
