Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment across commercial and industrial settings. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal operation of systems while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. This position offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC design and property maintenance. Perform service technician tasks including equipment repair, system upgrades, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient operation. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when necessary, including pipe fitting and leak repairs. Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues within HVAC/R equipment. Maintain detailed service records and document all repairs performed on equipment. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all field service activities. Assist with the installation of new HVAC systems and components following proper procedures. Perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of HVAC equipment and prevent system failures. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with knowledge of HVAC/R systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler maintenance, and property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and plumbing systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately. Field service experience with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently on-site. Knowledge of appliance repair and general maintenance practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between locations. Additional skills such as welding or mechanic experience are advantageous. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments while adhering to safety standards. This comprehensive role requires a versatile professional capable of handling diverse technical tasks related to heating, cooling, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems—ensuring the reliable operation of critical infrastructure across multiple facilities.
Pay:
$21.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
