Job Description

Residential HVAC Installer:
Residential retrofit / changeout installations
Pay Range:
$38.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and union card
Schedule:
Monday through Friday | 7:00am to 4:00pm | occasional overtime
What You Will Be Doing:
Perform residential HVAC system replacements and retrofit installations in existing homes Install and configure a variety of heating and cooling equipment, including gas furnaces, electric furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-split systems Modify, replace, and install ductwork to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency Conduct system testing, airflow verification, and balancing to optimize performance Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues to ensure equipment operates correctly and meets manufacturer specifications Educate homeowners on system features, operation, maintenance requirements, and answer any questions regarding their newly installed HVAC equipment

3 + years of HVAC industry experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and practical field experience Current EPA Universal Certification Strong understanding of HVAC system design principles, ductwork layout, fabrication, and installation Knowledge of low-voltage HVAC controls, wiring, and system operation Ability to interpret, follow, and ensure compliance with applicable mechanical, electrical, and building codes Skilled at evaluating customer concerns and recommending effective solutions that support both customer satisfaction and business objectives Possess a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
