Lead HVAC Installer Optimized Air is seeking an experienced, motivated Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who can confidently manage residential HVAC installations from start to finish while maintaining high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Lead residential HVAC system replacements and new installations. Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, mini-splits, and related equipment. Read and interpret job specifications and installation plans. Properly size, modify, and install ductwork as needed. Experience installing supply and return duct systems, trunk lines, branch runs, plenums, and transitions. Ensure all installations meet local codes and manufacturer specifications. Troubleshoot installation issues and make decisions independently in the field. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Train and mentor apprentice and junior installers. Complete paperwork, job documentation, and material lists accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requirements Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience. Proven ability to run installation jobs independently with little to no supervision. Strong knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ductwork. Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges on-site. EPA Certification required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-efficiency systems, communicating equipment, and zoning systems. Sheet metal fabrication experience. Pay:
