Job Description

Morales Professional Service is currently seeking an HVAC Field Service Technician for a both a manufacturer and service provider out of the greater Indianapolis area specializing in the manufacturer and service of industrial HVAC products, namely heat transfer products including water chillers, temperature control units and cooling towers.
Summary:
Equipment Service Technician works with customers to troubleshoot and repair equipment manufactured by the organization both during and after the factory warranty.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provide repair of the company's complete line of industrial process heating and cooling systems. Provide preventive maintenance advice to others working on company products. Troubleshoot units that are not working in person and over the phone/email by working with owner's maintenance teams and independent service companies. Complete record of customer contact in company's service software program. Suggest parts required for repairing equipment. Process orders including keeping & updating records in system. Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations. Hours of operation are 7:30am - 5:00pm. Most travel is day travel, home in the evenings. If overnight travel is needed, then it's limited to only a couple days.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience specific to the commercial HVAC or Refrigeration industry with EPA Universal certification or willingness to become certified. Ideal candidate should be knowledge of systems using R410A, R407C, R134A, R454B and R513A refrigerant, knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade and be mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills. #MP1
Pay:
$63,000.00 - $66,000.00 per hour
