In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort across various properties. Your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will be vital in delivering reliable solutions and building lasting client relationships. Duties Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, plumbing connections, and refrigeration components to identify root causes of malfunctions. Perform equipment troubleshooting using hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment to restore system functionality efficiently. Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all mechanical systems operate smoothly within building infrastructure. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering practical solutions that meet client needs. Requirements Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a strong background as an HVAC service technician. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration technology. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and preventative maintenance. Mechanical knowledge of various heating and cooling systems including boilers, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and mechanical issues efficiently using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as HVAC/R or Building Automation Systems are a plus. Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and building codes relevant to HVAC work. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for travel between job sites. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
