Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer and become a vital part of delivering comfort and efficiency to homeowners. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment in residential properties. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installations. Perform system repairs and maintenance on existing HVAC units, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics, refrigeration issues, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems to identify root causes of malfunctions. Utilize hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Conduct system testing, calibration, and commissioning to guarantee proper operation according to manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and safety documentation while adhering to EPA regulations for refrigerant handling. Communicate clearly with customers about system operation, maintenance tips, and safety procedures to enhance customer satisfaction. Experience Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of building codes and safety standards related to HVAC installation. Service technician experience working with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems diagnostics, and building automation systems. Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, boiler operation, air conditioning systems, and property maintenance is essential. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation processes, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver preferred for on-site visits. EPA certification or equivalent credentials for refrigerant handling are required to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Pay:
$29.22 - $35.19 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
